Privacy Policy: How We Handle Account and Machine Data

Version 1.0 Effective: Upon publication of this policy

First, a clear distinction: delivering our services requires account and order information; your projects, signing certificates, and build artifacts are data on your machine. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and how to make a request.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the account, ordering, billing, and support services on the official OSXHost website at osxhost.com and in its console. It covers information related to browsing public pages, creating an account, renting a Cloud Mac, and submitting a support ticket.

OSXHost provides Cloud Macs on dedicated physical machines, not virtual machines. Account records on the website and in the console are handled separately from projects, certificates, caches, and build artifacts stored on physical nodes. See Section 4 for details on data stored on your machine.

Information processed by payment providers during payment is covered by their privacy notices. This policy describes the payment-related records OSXHost receives and retains. We do not include full payment card details entered on a payment page in website account data.

2. Information We Collect

Account email. We process the email address you provide, along with records related to account verification, sign-in, and security actions. We use your email to identify your account, send verification codes, deliver notifications, and provide essential service messages. You do not need to enter project files or signing materials on public pages.

Order and billing records. We record the machine type, node, rental term, add-ons, order number, amount due, and payment status you select. We use this information to provision services, manage renewals, reconcile bills, and resolve transaction disputes. All orders are billed in US dollars.

Support ticket content. We retain the issue descriptions, order numbers, incident timeframes, and troubleshooting materials you choose to provide in console tickets or emails. Before sharing logs, remove passwords, private keys, tokens, and personal information unrelated to troubleshooting. Do not include full signing certificates or project source code in a ticket.

Login logs.To detect unusual access and troubleshoot sign-in issues, we process login times, IP addresses, browser or client details, verification results, and necessary security incident records. These records help protect accounts and services; they are not used to access project files on your machine.

3. Payment Data

We support USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex processed by Stripe. The payment gateways actually available are determined by the response from our backend. Stripe processes card details during payment; OSXHost does not store full card numbers.

To confirm whether a card order was completed, we process the transaction identifier, amount, payment status, and refund status associated with the order. When asking us to check a payment, provide the order number or transaction identifier. Never send full card numbers, card security codes, or verification codes by email or support ticket.

For USDT-TRC20 payments, we record only the transaction hash and amount, and link these to the relevant order for reconciliation. Blockchain transactions are publicly verifiable. Deleting your website account information does not remove transaction records already on the blockchain.

4. Data on Your Machine

We do not access projects or certificates on your machine, or use them as a source for website statistics or marketing analytics. You manage the source code, signing materials, build caches, tool configurations, and artifacts on your machine, and decide how to back them up or transfer them to your own pipeline.

If troubleshooting requires technical materials, you choose which relevant logs or screenshots to provide. Share only what is needed to reproduce the issue, and remove keys and sensitive fields first. Submitting a support request does not require you to provide an entire project or all your certificates.

After a rental ends, we securely erase the machine before preparing it for another customer. Secure erasure does not mean we retain a recoverable copy for you. Before ending your rental or releasing the machine, move any projects, artifacts, and configurations you want to keep. A request to delete account information does not replace migrating data from your machine or ending your rental.

5. How We Use Data

Service delivery and billing. We link your account, order, and payment results to deliver machines, manage rental terms, reconcile renewals, and provide billing information. Necessary notices about your current order are service communications and do not depend on sending promotional messages.

Fraud prevention and security. We use necessary login and transaction records to detect unusual sign-ins, unauthorized actions, and payment risks. Investigations are limited to information relevant to the incident; we do not access projects or certificates to assess account risk.

Support and service improvements. We use support ticket descriptions to troubleshoot connectivity, billing, and delivery issues, and aggregated website visit data to improve our guidance and workflows. We do not sell personal information or share sensitive content from your projects, certificates, or support tickets with advertisers.

To fulfill these purposes, necessary information may be accessed by service providers involved in hosting, payment processing, and support, solely to the extent required for their services. When disclosure is legally required, we follow applicable requirements and limit the information disclosed.

6. Retention and Deletion Requests

We determine retention periods according to the purpose of each type of information; we do not apply one permanent retention period to all records. We retain account information while your account is active and for any necessary account-closure procedures. We retain order and billing information to fulfill transactions, reconcile accounts, and meet applicable legal requirements. We retain support tickets and security logs only as long as needed for support, security reviews, and dispute resolution.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it according to its category. If a record is still needed for an open order, refund reconciliation, a security investigation, or a legal obligation, we retain the necessary portion rather than immediately deleting all transaction records in response to a request.

To request deletion, email us from the address linked to your account at support@osxhost.com, or sign in to the console and submit a support ticket. Specify whether you want to delete account details, the contents of a particular ticket, or other specific information. Do not include passwords or verification codes in your request.

We will first verify your connection to the account, then explain what can be deleted and which categories we need to retain. Backup records are removed through the backup rotation process and are not routinely used to restore deleted information. Before closing your account, end any active services and move any data on your machine that you want to keep.

7. Cookies and Analytics

The website and console use essential cookies or similar local storage to maintain sign-in sessions, verify security status, and remember basic preferences. Disabling this storage may prevent your session from being maintained or require you to verify your identity again.

Website analytics help us understand page visits, referral sources, and button usage so we can improve content and ordering flows. Analytics are not used to access files on your machine. Do not enter passwords, private keys, or signing materials in page URLs, search terms, or public input fields.

You can view, clear, or restrict cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing them may require you to sign in again. To ask about, restrict the processing of, or request deletion of analytics information relating to you, contact us using the channels in Section 8 and specify the relevant pages and approximate visit times.

8. Your Rights and Contact

You may request access to personal information about you, correction of inaccurate details, a copy of information we can provide, or deletion or restriction of information that is no longer needed. If processing is based on your consent, you may also withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.

For account-related requests, please first sign in to the console and submit a support ticket. If you cannot sign in or have a privacy question, contact support@osxhost.com. Include your account email, the type of request, and any relevant order number so we can verify and locate the information. We will never ask you to send your account password by email.

When handling a request, we will explain what information is needed to verify it, provide updates on its progress, and identify any parts that cannot be completed immediately due to transaction processing or legal requirements. If this policy changes materially, we will explain the changes on our website or through necessary account notices. You can check this page for the version currently in effect.

This policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is based. We will first discuss any dispute relating to this policy through the contact channels above. If litigation is necessary, it will be handled by a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
